Farnborough Int'l Airshow 2022

"We are a diverse team of expert and innovative technology leaders, deeply committed to pioneering all-electric solutions for aviation. We take great pride in our mission to electrify regional flight, spearheading the future of air travel." This description encapsulates the essence of Eviation as we showcased our vision at this year's Farnborough International Airshow, which took place this past July in England. Despite the tight timeline, I rose to the challenge of designing a booth that not only reflected Eviation's pioneering spirit but also ignited the curiosity of visitors, encouraging them to explore the unfolding future of flight.

As the centerpiece of our booth, the final slide featured a captivating video displayed on a massive media wall at the entrance. This video artfully emphasized the organic lines of Alice's fuselage, its futuristic nacelles, and its luxurious interior. Alice, in all her glory, was portrayed in a fresh and cutting-edge light. The Commuter version of Alice can comfortably carry nine passengers at a brisk 240 knots, boasting an impressive range of up to 650 miles. What sets Alice apart is her remarkable efficiency, operating at a fraction of the cost of conventional jet aircraft. With this pioneering aircraft, we aspire to redefine the travel experience and pave the way for a new era of sustainable aviation.

The Process

These video productions provide a captivating glimpse into the meticulous process behind the creation of our booth at Farnborough, expertly executed by the dedicated team at DCE Agency in the UK. The timeline showcases the step-by-step build, demonstrating the unwavering commitment and attention to detail that went into crafting our booth. From the initial construction to the final touches of paint and rigorous testing, every aspect was carefully considered to ensure that our exhibit was not only visually stunning but also fully operational when it took center stage on July 18th.

Similarly, the videos offer a behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship and precision employed byAlma Design in Portugal during the construction and testing of our kiosks and physical model of Alice. These critical components of our display were crafted with the same level of dedication and care, emphasizing our commitment to presenting Alice and our vision for sustainable aviation in the best possible light.

Together, these video productions illustrate the remarkable teamwork, skill, and dedication of both organizations, underscoring our collective determination to deliver an exceptional showcase at Farnborough.

The booth's graphics were a deliberate effort to elevate the visibility and recognition of the Eviation brand. I opted for a striking combination of bold, dark, and electric blues, complemented by a clean white backdrop that prominently featured Alice at the center of the wall. My objective was to ensure that our brand and message stood out conspicuously, making it easily visible from every corner of the exhibit hall. This strategic design choice not only enabled us to engage with potential customers wherever they were but also allowed us to showcase the wealth of exciting opportunities within the electric aviation industry today.

Throughout the design process, I explored various booth layouts, some of which underwent significant changes or were ultimately discarded as they didn't align with the strategic vision of our sales and marketing teams. Budget constraints and sizing considerations also played a role in simplifying the final design. However, our commitment to effectively conveying the essence of Eviation and the promise of electric aviation remained unwavering, driving us to create a visually impactful booth that left a lasting impression on all who visited.
